- Abstract
The article focuses on a study conducted on diagnosis of cleft palate in pregnant women. Topics discussed include 2-dimensional ultrasound examination of the fetal face where identification of the fetal tongue became difficult, 3-dimensional ultrasound examination performed for cleft palate with reverse face and fetal tongue moving in the vicinity of nasal septum suggesting a gap between the nasal and oral cavities thus confirming cleft palate.
