- Abstract
The authors discuss the impacts of overactive bladder (OAV) on the sexual life of patients. They say that OAB negatively affected the sexual activity and enjoyment in both sexes according to the Epidemiology of Lower Urinary Tracts Symptoms (EpiLUTS) study. They explore therapeutic options for treatment of OAB such as the phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (PDE5-Is) that can potentially improve urinary symptoms and sexual life.
