Vessel-sparing excision and primary anastomosis (for proximal bulbar urethral strictures).
- Authors

- Abstract
The article offers information about the surgical technique excision and primary anastomosis (EPA). EPA is considered as the highest success rate for reconstructing the anterior urethra. It appears to have a high rate of durability and demands that the strictured urethra be excised with the attached spongiofibrosis. It requires that the stricture be excised and the anastomosis made without creating chordee, penile shortening or tension at the anastomosis.
