- Abstract
The article focuses on the apprehension, uncertainty and concerns related to the definition of emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD). It discusses ethical issues involved in educational practice, teacher education and research. According to the author, students with EBD often exhibit moderate to severe broad academic deficits in multiple areas as compared to their normative peers. He concludes that special education teachers need to continue to ask relevant questions to remember their commitment to children with EBD.
