- Abstract
In this article, the authors comment on the potential of informatics to drive mass-spectroscopy-based protein analysis to make large-scale methods for proteomics. They say that the developers of computer software must provide a positive control with a standard data set and must offer results together with the parameter file in order for the new users to become confident that they make the analyses correctly. They also note that software tools evolve with newer versions and capacities.
