- Abstract
The article reports on a study that examined the occurrence of suicidal behavior and suicide risk factors among U.S. veterinarians. The results indicate that male and female adults had a lower lifetime prevalence of depressive episodes and suicidal ideation but a higher prevalence of suicide attempts. The limitations of the study include possible social desirability bias.
