- Abstract
The article offers information on how hospice and palliative care staff could have proper preparations for a family meeting. The first steps centered on information review like medical history, current treatments, prognostic information and psychosocial data of the patient's family. The authors stressed that leaders of the family meeting should have skills in group facilitation, counseling and willingness to make decisions.
