- Abstract
The article presents a rare case study of a Biliary Cast Syndrome (BCS) in a 61 year old patient who initially presented with septic shock and later developed complications, including suspected BCS. It is reported that despite attempts at endoscopic treatment, percutaneous drainage, and prolonged ICU care, the patient's condition did not improve. It is further noted that liver transplantation (LT) was eventually performed, showing improvements in laboratory values.
