- Abstract
The cover picture shows the development of a robust, low‐κ Mg MOF, which represents a significant route for potential applications of Mg‐based MOFs as new interlayer dielectric materials. The material reported in this paper has the lowest dielectric constant among all previously reported Mg‐based MOFs and is a rare example of a cds‐type framework without guest molecules. MOFs constructed by use of metals with a low refractive index (alkaline earth metals) and without polar guest molecules are an ideal choice as interlayer dielectric materials, because they have high porosity, low polarization, and high stability. Details are discussed in the article by T.‐W. Tseng, Y.‐C. Lin, K.‐L. Lu et al. on p. 1669 ff. For more on the story behind the cover research, see the Cover Profile.
