- Title
You Lost Me at Hello: Aren't We I-O Psychologists Still?
- Authors
Cunningham, Christopher J. L.
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights regarding professional identity, organizational behaviour, and psychology in the workplace. The author suggests that organizations must focus on industrial/organizational (I-O) psychology instead of rehashing the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) name-changing debate that poses damaging risk to professionalism. He mentions the significance of understanding human cognition and fostering translational teaching in the profession.
