- Abstract
The article discusses the early mesozoic carbonatites in folded formations of the Taimyr Peninsula. It states that the geological survey showed a group of injection carbonatite bodies with gold-bearing copper mineralization in a variety of areas in the said region. It cites tree rock groups which are identified among carbonatites such as sedimentary carbonate rocks, fluidal-explosive carbonate breccias, and carbonatites. However, the mineralogical and isotopic-geochemical properties of injection carbonatite bodies from the varied areas of Taimyr Peninsula has implied on the formation owing to the melting of the sedimentary carbonate substrate.
