- Abstract
Studies are presented for the production of flexible photovoltaic cells (PV-cells) on textile carrier. At the present stage, PV-cells with more than 8 % efficiency in energy conversion from light to current were reached retaining flexibility of the textile construction for easy handling. Heat stability for at least 450 to 500 °C for layer processing is essential for annealing of thin-layer PV-cells (Copper/Indium/ Diselenide type, CIS) (thickness around 5-10 µm).
