The article informs that surgery for Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI) has been advocated for correction of cam and pincer hip joint morphology. Topics discussed include arthroscopy as a method to provide pain relief and improve function in patients with FAI, surgical rates for correction of FAI, surgical treatment for FAI and effectiveness of surgery for FAI.
