- Abstract
The article offers information on a research related to comparison of frequency of mutation in BRAF, v-raf murine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B, V600K and V600E genes in melanoma from Lentigo Maligna (LM). Topics of discussion included were comparison of LM with subtypes of malignant melanoma including superficial, nodular and acral lentiginous melanoma, analysis of LM patient samples using Polymerase chain reaction method and prevalence of BRAF V600 mutations in LM samples.
