- Title
The role of motor proficiency in bone health in genetic syndromes.
- Authors
STEVENSON, DAVID A.
- Abstract
The author comments on a study which found that motor function has a significant effect on bone density in children with cerebral palsy of various motor severities. He believes that the findings support the idea that genetic disorders associated with decreased bone density could potentially improve bone health with similar techniques that increase motor function and overall activity levels.
