- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 37-year-old woman with occult small bowel adenocarcinoma in a stricture caused by Crohn's disease. Twenty strictureplasties were performed to conserve the small intestine. Laparotomy was performed with a view to future strictureplasties, but instead a 45 cm segment of the small intestine with multiple strictures was removed.
