- Abstract
The article presents a study which evaluates the relation between stormflow characteristics and soil-moisture content, water table elevation, and precipitation for the Panola Mountain Research Watershed, Georgia from water years 1986 through 2001. It states that stormflow water yield correlates best with maximum soil-moisture content and water table elevation. It concludes that soil-moisture content, water table elevation, and streamflow are attributed to groundwater contribution.
