- Abstract
The article presents a study to describe gender differences in recovery from sports-related concussion among high school age student athletes and hypothesized that females would report more symptoms initially and would take longer to recover based on previous studies. It mentions that the initial and final clinic visits included the SCAT2 and computerized testing. It states that result suggests that gender differences in symptom reporting play a role in recovery time after acute concussion.
