- Abstract
2 Red thrombus removed with thromboaspiration from the Cx Discussion When diagnostic uncertainty exists after CA, intracoronary imaging is recommended for diagnosis and to guide appropriate treatment especially in acute coronary syndromes and unstable patients [[1]]. In this setting, optical coherence tomography (OCT) has superior capacity to detect plaque rupture and to distinguish between white and red thrombus compared with IVUS [[2]].
