- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the perceptions of the surveyors from the Australian General Practice Accreditation Ltd. regarding the effect of accreditation on patient safety and health care quality in the Australian general practices. It states that the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) has formulated standards that can be used to enhance and protect health care quality and safety in general practices.
