- Abstract
A letter to the editor discusses a study on neurologic outcomes for adult spinal cord ependymomas (SE) based on tumor location. The study concludes that SEs in the thoracic region are associated with worse neurologic deficits compared to SEs in other spinal regions. However, the letter suggests that the study could have been improved by considering other factors such as different types of ependymomas, genetic influences, and the extent of tumor resection. The letter recommends addressing these limitations in future studies to obtain more precise conclusions.
