- Abstract
A method for the synthesis of two branched π-conjugated polyynes was proposed. The electron absorption, photoluminescence (PL) emissions, and electrochemiluminescence (ECL) properties of the prepared polyynes were further investigated. PL emissions from both chromophores were observed in the visible region of 320–500 nm. Both two polyynes exhibited stable cathode ECL emission, which can be used to design and preparation of functional materials in the future.
