- Abstract
The article offers information on the several uses of soil. It mentions that soil has greater responsibility in balancing the ecology and cites how nature preserve its distinctiveness through biomimicry. In addition, it highlights the soil's roles, particularly in preserving its fertility, growing plants, breaking down the pollution, water purification, controlling the major diseases. It also notes the organisms that are considered as helpmates of the soil in producing and retaining the nutrients such as earthworms and other small creatures dwelling underneath. Furthermore the experimentation approaches of the soil for teachers and students, are also mentioned.
