- Title
CRITICISMS OF EDUCATION.
- Authors
Marshall, Max S.
- Abstract
The article presents criticisms of education in the U.S. Critics blame teachers for human failings. Teachers carry with them a serious responsibility for basic knowledge, process of learning and search for truth. Teachers who are polite and considerate are in danger of rationalizing. In responding for criticism in education, it must be accepted for inspection and there must be a mature response to it. A mature response to criticism in education does not allow irritation toward juvenile charges, emotion toward emotional challenges or impatience toward accusations of failure.
