- Abstract
The article focuses on various issues related to science education that have been discussed in the National Society for the Study of Education's Thirty-First Yearbook. Articles related to the Thirty-First Yearbook were submitted to the periodical for publication as part of a symposium entitled "A Program for Science Teaching." At a meeting of the National Association for Research in Science Teaching and the National Society for the Study of Education, Part I of the Thirty-First Yearbook was presented. The Yearbook has emphasized the importance of the process of generalization in science education. According to the Thirsty-First Yearbook Committee, the curriculum of science courses should discuss scientific principles in detail. Classroom demonstrations, activity programs and group-experimentation teaching methods must be used by science teachers for teaching students.
