- Abstract
The article investigates the metabolism of quercetin, a flavonoid in the gut of moth Mythimna separata larvae. Topics discussed include detoxification of phenolic compounds in the gut of the larvae, determination of protein content through bicinchoninic acid (BCA) protein assay method and analysis of chromatographic behavior and mass spectra of quercetin through high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).
