- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that is based on effects of pepper powder which is fermented by Bacillus Ucheniformis SK1230 on the fat accumulation in mice. Topics discussed include fermented pepper powder inhibits fat accumulation and improved lipid metabolism, Capsaicin, ingredient of pepper is used as an antioxidant and analgesic liniment for headache and arthritis and effect of capsaicin on enzyme lipoprotein lipase (LPL). It also mentions calculation of Food Efficiency Ratio (FER).
