The article focuses on the advantage of using algorithms to prevent gerrymandering when redrawing district boundaries post decennial census. Topics discussed include adhering to Voting Rights Act in order to include minority voters, reshaping of districts to achieve party control by corrupt politicians, and use of open source algorithms for a fair process and improved voter confidence.
