- Abstract
Neutrales 4 ‐ Iod ‐ N ‐ ethylimidazol (3) kann oxidativ an [Pt(PPh3)4] addiert werden, wobei in Gegenwart von Tetraalkylammoniumsalzen die Komplexe trans ‐ [4], trans ‐ [5] und trans ‐ [6] gebildet werden, die einen anionischen, am C4 ‐ Atom gebundenen Heterocyclus mit einem unsubstituierten Ring ‐ Stickstoffatom enthalten. Der Komplex trans ‐ [4] reagiert mit der Protonenquelle NH4I unter Protonierung des Ring ‐ Stickstoffatoms und Bildung des Komplexes trans ‐ [7]I, der einen NH,NR ‐ substituierten aNHC ‐ Liganden trägt. Die Reaktion von trans ‐ [4] mit CH3I führt zum Komplex trans ‐ [8]I mit einem klassischen aNHC ‐ Liganden mit zwei alkylierten Ring ‐ Stickstoffatomen. Die oxidative Addition von neutralem 4 ‐ Iod ‐ N ‐ ethylimidazol an [Pt(PPh3)4] ergibt den Komplex trans ‐ [1] mit einem anionischen, C4 ‐ gebundenen Heterocyclus. Der Komplex kann N3 ‐ protoniert oder N3 ‐ methyliert werden, wobei Produkte mit einem protischen oder konventionellen aNHC ‐ Liganden erhalten werden (aNHC=anomaler NHC ‐ Ligand; NHC=N ‐ heterocyclisches Carben).
