- Abstract
The article focuses on the strategic implications between the energy cooperation of Iran and Turkey. An overview of the founding of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) on natural gas and petroleum reserves from Islamic Republic is noted. Topics discussed include the interdependency on petroleum reserve between Tehran and Ankara and the impacts of civil war in Syria.
