- Authors
Werner, Ray O.; Howard, Marshall C.
- Abstract
The article presents developments in marketing in relation to the regulation of channels of distribution. In reference to the relationships between buyers and sellers, the case of S. Kriete Osborn v. Sinclair Refining Company is cited. In this case, the court found that the termination of a service station lease is related to the right of a seller to select its own customers. A discussion is presented about the limitations of the seller's right to refuse to deal as it relates to cancelling contracts and the treble damage provision of the Clayton Act.
