- Abstract
In recent years there has been given much importance to energy sources. Climate change has been bordering the human being to put aside fossil fuels and start using renewable energy; however the process of abandoning fossil fuels will take many decades. Because of this radical change it's been sought out to increase the efficiency of thermal machines. In this work modifications have been made to a Brayton Cycle in order to increase its efficiency. In a simulation, the modifications made it possible to use a fuel based on hydrogen which in return won't contaminate. Apart from having various advantages over many other types of fuels, it is not found in deposits like other hydrocarbons so its profitable procurement will be a challenge.
