- Abstract
In order to improve the role of high-rise building coupling beams in earthquakes, the concrete material of coupling beams is replaced by ECC material, and the inter-story displacement angle, base shear force and floor acceleration of high-rise structures under frequent and rare earthquakes are carried out. The analysis shows that under frequent and rare earthquakes, ECC coupling beams increase the period of the structure and reduce the stiffness of the structure, but the inter-story displacement angle, base shear force and floor acceleration of the structure can also be significantly reduced, which has strong energy dissipation capacity and effectively improves the overall seismic performance of the structure.
