- Abstract
Gastric cancer is the most common malignant neoplasm of digestive system. Our country is a high-risk area of gastric cancer and its morbidity and mortality are higher than the world average. Most patients have entered the advanced stage when they were diagnosed with gastric cancer. So most of them need to radiotherapy and chemotherapy after surgery. As the research moves along, gastric cancer patients can get drug targeted therapy through the molecular detection of tumor specimens to realize the personalized treatment. RNA interference (RNAi) technology is widely used for gene function study, and get the rapid development in the study of mammals. siRNA plays a central role in RNAi, which possesses specific inhibits a mRNA, to adjust the different protein abnormal expressions in tumors occur. The study of siRNA will provide a broader space for gastric cancer gene therapy.
