- Abstract
Among the aryl-propionic non-steroidal-anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID), topical ketoprofen is one of the most important in the development of allergic and photo-allergic contact reactions, especially in countries such as those bordering the Mediterranean region, where the use of topical NSAID drugs is widespread and the exposure to light is great. In the last 3 years, 10 patients with allergic reactions to topical ketoprofen were investigated. Thus it was concluded that the topical ketoprofen can induce both contact and photocontact dermatitis.
