- Abstract
This article presents a case report illustrating cross-reaction between several imidazoles. A 20-year-old housewife presented with an eczematous rash affecting the axillae, left wrist and web spaces of the fingers. Use of ecostatin spray solution had exacerbated the axillary rash, nickel jewellery produced eczema and the patient had previously treated her hand eczema with tri-adcortyl cream. Patch tests were positive at 48 and 96h to ecostatin spray solution, nickel and ethylenediamine and negative to the remainder of the European standard battery.
