- Abstract
The article "Cognitive Sciences and Purchase Decisions" explores the relationship between economic psychology and cognitive sciences, using consumer behavior as a reference point. It mentions the contributions of three Nobel laureates in Economics: Herbert A. Simon, Daniel Kahneman, and Richard A. Thaler. Concepts such as bounded rationality, heuristics and biases, and the concept of mental accounting in relation to purchase decisions are discussed. The article concludes by highlighting the close relationship between cognitive sciences and economic psychology and the valuable contributions that can arise in the future.
