- Abstract
The article discusses a study that examines the burden and characteristics of breast cancer cases diagnosed in Central Tunisia in between January 1, 1993 to December 31, 2007. It shows that non-invasive breast cancer was diagnosed in 57 cases, most of which were women. It shows that crude incidence rates of the female breast cancer were highest for women aged 65-69 years during the first period and for patients aged 55-69 years during both the second and third phases.
