- Abstract
The article discusses the iconography of the temples in Bengal, India. It mentions that the iconography of the temples in the said place is related to the study of images that can be found in the said temples and raises philosophical and aesthetic questions for the modern world especially in terms of pictorial images. It adds that the iconography of Hindu temples is concerned with the iconography of Hindu gods that are characterized by anthropomorphy.
