HAEMATO-BIOCHEMICAL CHANGES AFTER ADMINISTRATION OF THIOPENTONE SODIUM IN PREMEDICATED BUFFALO CALVES (BUBALUS BUBALIS).
- Abstract
The article offers information on the study conducted by the authors to know haematobiochemical changes in midazolam, propofal premedicated buffalo calves given thiopentone sodium as maintenance anaesthetic. It states that six buffalo caves weighing 60-80 kilograms (kgs) were studied in which they were kept off feed for 24 hours prior to the experiment. It highlights that no significant hematological changes were observed during anaesthesia however there was decrease in erythrocyte count.
