- Abstract
The article discusses how after the Armenian Genocide, extreme othering and demonization of others continues in Turkey and how anti-Armenian public rhetoric, false rumors and assumptions are common in media. Topics include how Turkish state has institutionalized segregation and discrimination against the Armenian and other Christian communities, establishment of the Turkish Republic and how humiliations has been impacting the identity of the Armenian community.
