- Abstract
This article presents a theoretical review where the importance of behavioral principles and techniques within the field of neuropsychological rehabilitation is exposed. In clinical intervention with patients suffering from dysfunction, neurological damage or deterioration, where the direct consequences of the behavior are significant, the use of strategies from the behavior modification techniques (behavioral and / or cognitive-behavioral) are important for the treatment of various neurobehavioral syndromes, being within the competence of the specialist in this area applied neuroscience. In addition to describing aspects, theoretical and experimental primary relevance for this purpose, some empirical studies conducted under a methodology unique case, will also be mentioned for a better understanding of the applicative usefulness of behavioral principles in the field of neuropsychology clinic.
