- Abstract
The article discusses the stratigraphic demarcation issue of the Lower-Middle Triassic boundary. According to a study of conodonts in Guizhou Province, China, there are six conodont zones. The location of the Lower-Middle Triassic boundary, based on the first appearance of Chiosella timorensis, is 1.5 meter below the top of Ziyun Formation in the Qingyan Section. It cites ammonite fossils found at the uppermost part of Lower Triassic in the Xinyuan Section.
