- Abstract
Rathke cleft cysts are commonly found on autopsy but are seldom symptomatic. Conventional treatment of these lesions consists of transsphenoidal drainage with partial excision of the cyst, and recurrence is rare, We report a case of a 29-year-old female. The lesion was revealed by headaches and diplopia, nausea, and vomiting. Histological findings showed multinucleated giant cell, inflammation, hemosiderophages and cleft cholesterol in adenohypophisis, no changes of adenomas were found Rathke cleft cyst were suggested by the histological findings.
