- Abstract
The article focuses on the argument among Egyptologists and geologists regarding the mysterious origination of the Great Sphinx in Giza, Egypt. Topics include the incomplete understanding in the geomorphology of Giza Plateau, a hypotheses regarding the erosional patterns of Giza limestone during the African Humid Period, and the representation of Sphinx as a relic of quarrying for Khufu and Khafra's monuments.
