- Abstract
The article presents a speech by Saul M. Kassin, distinguished professor of psychology at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York, delivered at the Chief Judge Lawrence H. Cooke Fourth Annual State Constitutional Commentary Symposium, held in Albany, New York on March 4, 2010. Kassin discussed false confessions, a cause of wrongful convictions. He stated that DNA exoneration cases identified eyewitness mistake as a common source of error.
