- Abstract
The article discusses the effectiveness of using long-acting β2-adrenoceptor agonists (LABA) on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and poor reversibility to short-acting bronchodilators. Studies reveal that LABAs reduce exacerbations and improve the functioning of lungs. COPD in patients is also the major reason for morbidity and mortality.
