- Abstract
The article focuses on concerns related to adoption of dose fractionated gamma knife radiosurgery for treatment of symptomatic arteriovenous malformations (AVM). Topics discussed include analysis of single stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) session; analysis of an adverse risks related to fractionated radiation therapy; and assessment of several options through a randomized trial of unruptured brain arteriovenous malformation (ARUBA) such as embolization.
