- Abstract
The article discusses the biology of KRAS mutation and its biological behavior in respect to chemotherapy and outcome to determine whether KRAS-mutated non-small-cell-lung carcinoma (NSCLC) can be considered as a distinct form of lung cancer. It provides perspectives of treatment of patients who have non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with a KRAS mutation. It was noted that KRAS-mutated NSCLC cannot be considered distinct from lung cancer.
