- Title
Blogger reveals China's migratory goose farms near site of flu outbreak.
- Authors
Butler, Declan
- Abstract
The article reports on evidence contradicting the hypothesis that migratory birds are responsible for spreading avian flu over long distances in China. A breeding program in Qinghai Lake in western China raised the possibility that farmed birds were the source of the bird flu outbreak. The findings could have significant implications for bird breeding practices.
